Hungry Games takes us to 2050, where 12 billion people are estimated to be living on the planet Earth.
This scenario of overpopulation together with the destruction of crops through unpredictable weather due to climate change will lead to a lower access to food resources worldwide.
As the Head plant scientist of your lab, you and your team of scientists will fight these challenges by using CRISPR-Cas9, a biotechnology that allows you to edit the genome of crops making them more resistant to weather changes and pests.
Throughout the game, you will be able to improve and manage the genetic resources for crop production in order to feed the population while learning about genome editing.
