The 2024 annual conference and General Assembly of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) will take place at the University of Milano-Bicocca in Milano, Italy, on 14-16 March 2024. The theme of the conference is 10 Years of MCAA: Past, Present & Future.

The MCAA community brings together researchers from all career stages and scientific disciplines, MSCA project managers and stakeholders. They are encouraging networking and cooperation, making the MCAA a forum of debate between researchers and with the society.

The programme of high-level panels will be complemented by training sessions, networking opportunities, and a showcase of the engagement and excellence of MCAA members.

A call for lighting talks and posters is open for MCAA members until 1 February 2024.

MCAA Awards

During the gala dinner, the 2023 MCAA Awards will highlight and reward its members for their actions and activities within the community.

The call for nominations is open until 25 January.

Four Awards are given to the members who excelled during the year

• MCAA Career Award to reward a member with a career of excellence
• MCAA Best Innovator Award to reward a member who presents the best innovation approach
• MCAA Social Impact Award to reward a member whose activity has a positive social impact
• MCAA Outstanding Contributor Award to reward the member who has contributed the most to the MCAA

The conference will be held in a hybrid format to ensure sustainability and accessibility for all MCAA members around the world.
