MSCA lunchtime conversation - Human-AI Co-creation: How can we bring the best of human and machine together?
This event is first in a series of MSCA lunchtime conversations on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This event focuses on the potential of human-AI interaction and collaboration.
It will explore how to optimally integrate the strengths of humans and machines in the future.
This is essential to
- optimise the efficiency and robustness of such collaborative work
- increase the uptake and acceptance of AI across sectors and user groups by ensuring that AI systems are human-centred.
Speakers will present the knowledge and tools developed in EU-funded projects, which will serve as a basis for the discussion and exchange among the panelists and with the audience.

Deadline to register: 21 May 2025, 12.00, CEST
Agenda
Background
Leading in the development and deployment of digital technologies have been placed at the heart of European competitiveness and prosperity, as indicated in the Political Guidelines for 2024-2029 and the EU Strategic Agenda.
This framework defines the EU priorities and will guide the European Commission’s work over the next five years. The weight given to AI in particular has been demonstrated by the recent announcements of major investment in AI infrastructures, including the AI gigafactories and the planned Resource for AI Science in Europe.
Members of the R&I community and organisations researching AI and how we can work with it more effectively as well as those developing new AI models and systems can contribute to supporting EU policymaking with relevant knowledge and evidence on the topic.
The European Commission has developed a vision for positioning Europe as a global AI leader with the AI Continent Action Plan, leveraging its strengths including research and innovation.
Within Horizon Europe, several ongoing initiatives aim to map AI-related projects and emerging trends, including in bottom-up programmes such as MSCA and the European Research Council.
