Apply now to attend the 73rd Lindau meeting on physics
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions is giving current and past fellows the opportunity to attend the next Lindau meeting on physics in summer 2024.
Physics meeting in summer 2024
The meeting of Nobel Laureates in Physics will be held from 30 June to 5 July 2024.
About 600 young scientists from all over the world will get the unique chance to spend an inspiring week with some Nobel Laureates to exchange experiences and establish valuable contact in science and beyond.
How to apply
The European Commission is offering a limited number of MSCA fellows the opportunity to participate to the event.
Selection criteria
The call for applications is open to both current (you should have commenced your fellowship by 1 September 2023) and past MSCA fellows, including master, doctoral students and young postdoctoral scientists, working in the areas of physics or related fields.
In addition to these criteria, the review panel of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate meetings will select participants among the candidates using its own selection criteria .
Secure your own funding
The MSCA are not offering travel or fee support for the event, merely the opportunity to attend.
Applicants must ensure that they have the funding necessary to meet their own share of the costs of the event. This will amount to €1.250, plus travel costs. Related costs must be paid by your organisation and/or through your MSCA project.
We recommend that you get a confirmation from your organisation that these costs will be met at the appropriate time (March/April 2024).
Should you be selected and not able to meet the participation costs, your place will be lost and no other MSCA fellow will be able to benefit from the opportunity.

The application process to seek a nomination from MSCA to attend the Lindau meeting is a two-step procedure.
