MSCA4Ukraine: upcoming call in September - preliminary information for applicants
A call for applications under the recently announced MSCA4Ukraine scheme, funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and aiming to support displaced researchers from Ukraine, is coming up in September.
About MSCA4Ukraine
MSCA4Ukraine will enable researchers from Ukraine to continue their work at academic and non-academic organisations in EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries, while maintaining their connections to research and innovation communities in Ukraine.
The scheme may also
- facilitate researchers’ reintegration in Ukraine if conditions for safe return are met, in order to prevent permanent brain drain
- contribute to strengthening the Ukrainian university and research sector and its collaboration and exchange with the international research community
It will be implemented by
- the European University Association
- Scholars at Risk Europe hosted at Maynooth University, Ireland
- the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation
The French national PAUSE programme, hosted by the Collège de France and the global Scholars at Risk Network will participate as associated partners.
Preliminary information on eligibility criteria and application requirements
In August 2022, the implementing consortium will publish further information on the scheme’s matchmaking and advisory services for researchers and prospective host organisations.
In September 2022, a call for applications with detailed information on application requirements, eligibility, evaluation and selection criteria will be published.
The call will be widely disseminated, including on the Horizon4Ukraine page of the European Commission’s Funding and Tenders Portal.
In the meantime, we invite prospective host organisations to read this short document published on the website of the European University Association, which provides initial information to begin preparations for an application.
