Seal of Excellence Awarded to Outstanding Researchers

Calls for proposals under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are extremely competitive: the budget for the 2019 call only allowed a grant to be awarded to 15% of applicants.
The Seal of Excellence is therefore designed to support MSCA applicants whose proposals show exceptional potential but cannot be funded under the current budget. With this prestigious endorsement, it should be easier for researchers receiving the award to acquire alternative funding for their project from regional, national or institutional sources.
Individuals can find more information on national/regional support for MSCA Seal of Excellence holders on the dedicated MSCA seal of excellence page.
Recipients may also wish to contact the National Contact Point in their host country for more information on funding.
