Researchers at Schools
Researchers at Schools brings leading scientists into the classroom and pupils to the lab. It complements the European Researchers’ Night and is run by the same organisers. The difference is that the activities take place throughout the year. They are specifically aimed at little researchers-to-be.
Researchers at Schools projects
- take place throughout the year and across Europe
- give primary and secondary school pupils a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of science – and become part it
- develop pupils’ STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and demonstrate first hand how what they learn at school is relevant to solving problems in later life
- raise awareness of the challenges facing our societies today and the role of science in addressing them
- have reached over 320,000 pupils in 2022 and 2023
