Science is Wonderful! hits the road – second stop: Poland!
Applications are now open for Polish-speaking MSCA fellows and alumni to engage with thousands of people, young and old, families and researchers from across Poland at the unique Science Picnic fair in Warsaw.
Science is Wonderful! to coroczny festiwal nauki organizowany przez działania Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Zaprasza naukowców finansowanych przez UE z całego świata do Brukseli, aby w interaktywny sposób opowiedzieli o swojej pracy dzieciom i młodzieży. Teraz wydarzenie wykracza poza granice Belgii i po Irlandii wyrusza do Warszawy na Piknik Naukowy – największe w Europie plenerowe wydarzenie popularyzujące naukę, które odbędzie się 10 maja 2025 roku na PGE Narodowym i zaoferuje niezapomniane interakcje z tysiącami pasjonatami nauki.

We’re looking for 3 enthusiastic Polish-speaking MSCA fellows or alumni who are ready to share their work at the Science is Wonderful! booth at the Science Picnic in Warsaw.
Join us at Europe’s largest outdoor science-popularization event at the National Stadium in Warsaw and help inspire curiosity and excitement with live experiments, games and hands-on activities. Be part of the Science Picnic 2025, which attracts over 150 000 visitors every year – young and old, scientists and international organisations coming together to celebrate science.
Take this chance to showcase your research in a fun and engaging way, inspiring countless curious minds.

As a participant, we will provide you with expert communication coaching to give you all the tools and support you need to carry out your activities and present your work in the most fun and engaging way possible.
With travel and accommodation covered, all you have to worry about is how to engage with thousands of science enthusiasts.
Lead researchers should be MSCA fellows or alumni, but science thrives on collaboration! The European Commission will also cover the travel and accommodation costs for two team members.
You’re welcome to bring along MSCA fellows or non-MSCA team members – whether they’re technicians, students, or senior researchers. All that matters is that they know your research, speak Polish and are ready for a glamorous day of science!

5 February 2025 – selection results announced
9 February 2025 – deadline for selected participants to submit the Science Picnic registration form
April 2025 – online communication couching session to help you prepare
9 May 2025 – booth setup
10 May 2025 – Science Picnic day!
